This project drew out the effective use of lighting techniques because of the project's strong and difficult composition skills, diversity, and visual power. Besides these, there are areas that need improvement, for instance, to be able to gain consistency in style and more poses where the subject isn't serious while still gathering the effect of the light. The experience imparted a valuable lesson about patterns in lighting and the effect light can have on mood in an image. It helped me take focused consideration in the way light danced across surfaces, refining my understanding of shadow, reflection, and form. In so doing, it has given me a foundation upon which to approach future subjects with much more confidence and creativity, which will enrich my practice of photography. My project represented a huge improvement in technical skills and creative usage of lighting and composition. Probably, further work may be improved by having a wider range of subjects and the ability to experiment more with light set-ups. I now know how dramatic the direction and quality of light can change in a photograph, regarding shadows, highlights, and the whole mood of it. Shooting the egg actually taught me more about how to control light than in shooting an egg to capture the complex dynamics of a classmate, although most of the labs would ensure that lighting is considered. The second lab had more complexity in interaction compared to the simple capturing of an egg.  From now on, I'd like to experiment with different lightings, both natural and artificial, to further improve my future photography projects.
